Growth in LC but not on WBS

I injected Karo LCs and Grain jars with the same syringe 6 days ago. I see nice white strands in the LC forming but no signs of growth in the grain jars. Usually i see it sooner but this is my first attempt with Puerto Rican spores. Advice Please?

How many grain jars did you inoculate? Are you sure that you got water content correct in the grain jars (not too much water?)
How long did you sterilize the grain, and at what pressure?
The more information you can provide about your procedures, the more helpful we can be.

with the amount of information you provided:
A. You are growing something besides mycelium in your LC water and your grain jars are too dry. B. You are growing mycelium in your LC water and your grains are too dry. C. First half of A and your grains are too wet. D. First half of B and your grains are too wet. E. This list can go on and on with less information and get shorter with more information you provide.

The grains were done according to roger rabbits boil for ten then drain and let dry. I have used grain many times and this grain looks perfect. Is it possible for it to take that long to show signs of growth. These jars are incubating at 80 degrees in a tit and the growth in the LC is definitely myc.

The grain jars may take a little time to germinate. It may also be that you forgot to shake the syringe. Just some ideas
Damn now i have that doom song stuck in my head. Thanks sillicybin

thanks ill just sit tight and see what happens hopefully I see something by tomorrow since that will be a week. Would it be bad to inject the jars with the LC if no Myc shows in the next week? if so how many ccs of LC per Jar.

if you didn't capture enough of the mycelium in the syringe than you might not see growth on the seed. i think moisture content might be problem. did you dry your seed before loading in jars? what i mean is dry to the touch before loading. i spread mine out and take paper towels to it until nothing sticks to my hand or a spoon, then add a tablespoon of verm an shake like crazy. it takes forever but it takes even longer to have to start from scratch.

does the seed look wet? if you try to move the seed around does it move freely or is it clumpy?

moves freely and does not look wet but moist. No kernels look dry or too wet. Also goldie it was spores injected into both mediums. I havent tried injecting the LC into any jars yet.

On December 24 I inoculated 9 WBS jars with a multi-spore from 3 different strains (3 jars each strain) : B+, PR, and an unknown strain that a friend gave me. It took 5 days for the B+ to show signs of growth, 8 for the unknown strain, and at day 10 the PR have yet to show any sign of growth. All jars have been kept in the same incubator and all of the WBS prepared at the same time. I know they are all viable syringes(all spawned great to BRF cakes).
So what I am saying is that depending on the strain, jar preparation, and incubation conditions it can take up to 2 weeks to see growth.
Assuming you have done everything correctly up to this point you just have to sit around and wait. Great rewards come with patience.
