More pins on the bottom than on the top, should I flip it?

Hey,
This cake is in the FC for 11 days now, and showed its first pin 3 days ago. I was stressing a bit because of the slow progress, and the few pins I had. Yesterday I read something on the forum about putting your cakes on a dish with some water in it, so when doing this I saw that quite some pins had formed on the underside of the cake (they were on a sheet of alu foil before, and quite some water had gathered there).
So, having a few pins on the top surface and about 5 times as much on the bottom surface; should I flip over my cake, or just leave it as it is?

You could always place a large bottle cap(like from a gatorade bottle)and place the cake on its side. Ive done this before when my cakes were growing pins from the bottom. The results were rather nice.

Don't turn it over. The pins formed there because that was the right environment for them. If you disturb the cake, they'll be much more likely to abort. Just let them grow. They'll push out from the bottom, provided you didn't do something silly like set the cake directly on the perlite. RR
