Varicose veins

I have quite bad varicose veins in my legs. They do cause me quite a lot of discomfort.
After a night on the food of the Gods, however, my legs feel right as rain for days, nay weeks afterwards.
I have Googled this matter extensively and there is some evidence of certain types of mushrooms aiding circulation. I plan to investigate this further.
Does anybody else have anything to add?

Sounds particularly interesting.
Nothing to add sorry.

That sounds awesome. Ayahuasca made (helped) me quit smoking cigarettes.

I don't really have much to add, but that's awesome
it's just too bad that this substance you found to aid you with your ailments is illegal. you have your government to thank for that, and I have mine as well.

I'm not too familiar with varicose veins, but I am aware that they are related to varicoceles that occur in more commonly in the left testicle of adult males.
from what I have read, varicoceles are not necessarily a health threat, but can have some pain involved.
I have a varicocele and have never noticed any change in it after a mushroom experience, however I have never been too keen on this phenomenon you describe.

Basically, the blood goes down the leg, but it won't come up properly so the vein bulges out of my leg like a bunch of grapes. Not life-threatening but there is the danger of a blood clot later in life.
The main problem is the leg cramps/aches.
I'll upload a photo later so you can all marvel at the freak show that is my left leg.
I am wondering if I can wash out the Psilocybin and eat the shrooms on a regular basis. Or maybe there is a better mushroom I can grow.
Either way, it works for me.

Man, I can only think that it'll be hard to find information regarding your particular situation, but it would be worth looking.
It is possible that there is something in Psilocybe mushrooms besides psilocybin that helps with your veins.

you could try making tea when you want to trip and then carefully and quickly re-dry the mushrooms and ingest them at a later date to find out.
I wish you luck with your research

i would suggest stretching and exercising, if its in your leg, get up a walk around awhile, get the blood flowing. other suggestion would be to take supplements that help blood flow- i dont know what kind of supplements, but i would suggest tea like yerba mate or tea with caffeine? maybe supplements like guarana?

I've seen worse I'm sure . My mom does sclerotherapy, which is the treatment of "spider" veins and varicose veins. She works for a company that has some locations across the country
If it's causing you pain, most health insurance companies will cover it. If you are interested PM me and I'll give you some info about the company and maybe there's one near you, who knows

I've consulted my doctor and exercise is no solution. I cycle for two hours every day. Raising the legs is the only effective way to send the blood back upwards.
He says if they really start hurting then I should go under the knife, he offered me medicine for the cramps but I don't much like the idea of taking any drug daily/indefinately.
My friend had a varicose vein removed a while back and (it's under a local anaesthetic) the doctor didn't apply enough anaesthetic and he felt the knife slice in. Ooops!
I plan to get mine pulled out this year. My insurance will cover it, it's just a matter of finding the time. Busy busy.
After reading Paul Stamets you'd be forgiven for thinking that mushrooms are the panacea that'll cure all of mankind's ills.
I plan to investigate this further.

I thought they could just inject something into the veins to collapse and get rid of them.

They pull a coil through your leg and it takes the vein with it.

That is actually exactly what they do. I've never heard of the coil thing... though I would imagine that would be pretty damaging.

Did you ever get your veins treated? I am looking at getting the sclerotherapy soon (the injections).
I actually get bad pains in my varicose veins when I trip. When I stand after sitting or laying for a while. It really messes with my experience I hope sclerotherapy helps with that and doesn't make it worse!

look up myofascial release, I use to have really bad back pain/leg pain (especially from prepping wbs ) and myofascial release with a foam roller or tennis ball really helps the pain and also circulation
