Hey!
I dosed for new years. I haven't done acid in a while and was told it was pretty good stuff. Anyways, I took half a hit and fried hard. It was way intense but I loved every second of it.
Anyways, I had some minor problems. I have weird color distortion when I look at stuff. My color takes a couple seconds to become correct. I also have this gay ass headache that wont go away. I was wondering if this was normal.

no, take some vitamins, get some food and rest. I'd also take it easy on the reefer for as long as this is a concern to you

Ive had a total of 12 acid trips in a year to a year and a half. The last two were the most intense and have made me want to chill on the acid for sum time. Hallucinogen Persistent Perceptive Disorder (HPPD)is an annoying disorder "diagnosed" to people who have had at least a few hallucinogenic experiences and suffer from a persistent perceptual shift even after the psychedelics are flushed out of the system.
Acid is the more frequent culprit for the cause of this disease due to its wide array of friendliness with the many perception controlling receptors within our brains systems. It has a higher affinity or attachability to more differeing serotonin receptors than any other psychedelic or endogenous hallucinogen. And since some of these receptors may almost rarely be used in a psychological lifetime, lsd may sensitize and cause overstimulation resulting in a lagging or "slowing down" of sensory processing. Youve basically configured your neurology to compute perceptual information like that of someone who has schizophrenia or another disease of perceptual processes. Luckily for us and for others who "suffer" from this disorder (i tend to enjoy my sobriety which has never been trippier), it is not permanent since desensitization is also a possibility.
Sadly, with perceptual process organization working at abnormal rates, sometimes cognitive shift and deficit accompanies the symptoms of this disorder. I find myself teetering closer to the edge of insanity than i have ever before in my life. I clearly am still self-sustainable but i do feel as though my chase for the ultimate consciousness has led me to my current inconsistently manageable mindset problem.
As far as the headache goes, listen to the last guys advice.
Hallucinogens are absolutely amazing but plz do be careful

i get headaches almost EVERY time i take acid or mushrooms. i have learned to take some paracetemol or ibuprofen BEFORE i trip, this usually prevents it. if i wait untill i am tripping and i get a headache to take some paracetemol, i cannot get rid of the headache, no matter how many i eat.
