Shrooms = swollen hands? low blood pressure?

Last time I tripped there was one major thing that kind of bothered me.
About an hour and a half after ingestion, I looked at my hands and they looked extremely chubby and swollen. I wasn't sure if I was hallucinating or if they were actually swollen, but it looked pretty real. It even hurt a bit when I tried to make a fist with either hand, or when I squeezed my hands together, which further led me to believe they were actually swollen.
It wasn't a very big deal, but it made me pretty uncomfortable and I had a couple nasty thoughts of my fingers exploding which I thankfully was able to distract myself from.
Also, when I pushed my finger onto the back of my other hand (which was quite red at the time), it left a white mark that lasted for an uncomfortably long time (possibly because I was trippin). At the same time I felt flushed and although I couldn't see my face I felt extremely pale. Does this mean low blood pressure? I've experienced the same thing on weed and nearly passed out last time I was at Ozzfest. This was all outside early in the morning though, so I figure the cold had something to do with it. Is there a link between shrooms and low blood pressure?
But about the swollen hands... has anybody else experienced this? Chubby fingers, discomfort when making a fist, that kind of thing? I'm sure it's not dangerous but it was still bothersome throughout my entire trip and I would like to know if it's a common thing and if there's any information on why this happens or what can be done to stop it, etc.
This was a 3.5g trip, and I ate the shrooms in a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. All washed down with pepsi (bad choice, I know). Neither of these things have happened during my other trips, either. Or maybe they did and I just wasn't aware of it.

shrooms will cause an increase in blood pressure. If you really do get noticably pale, it's because your blood vessels contract, thus less oxyganted blood (red) appearing through you're skin
Same effect if you take a cold shower or something, you'll look pale... or a hot bath, you'll look more rosey

the white mark after you pushed into your skin is a sign of poor capillary refill. That means you are having vascular constriction. Not too big of a deal, nicotine is a vascular constrictor as well. It sounds like you may have allergies. Have you ever had a panel run?
The fact that weed caused a similar problem would make me suggest that you see a doctor about your health before you trip again.
If nothing else, keep your hands above hear level, loosen any restrictive clothing, and drink more water.
