i need help with cultivation

hello everybody. im a new member of shroomery. im very experienced with hunting and consuming, but a novice when it comes to cultivation. i just acquired a fully colonized jar from a friend. he took it out of his fruiting chamber put the lid on it and handed it to me. he told me that i could have my own successful grow with the jar he handed me. it has some little mushrooms at the top on the inside of the jar.

my question is where do i go from here? how do i make more cakes from this jar? how long do i have until this jar is full of unusable material. i also am trying to do this as basically and inexpensive as possible. if anybody could tell me basically what to do or point me in the direction it would be greatly appreciated.

Go to youtube and search for "let's grow mushrooms" It's a series of videos that will show you what your friend did all the way up to the point that your at right now, with a fully colonized jar. Good luck and start reading as much as possible. Begin here:

search search search.

nobody can tell you what to do.. you are gonna have to decide that for yourself.

ask your friend what you can do.. it sounds like he gave you a cake that is already pinning and if that's the case.. find a way to make your own fruiting chamber look up some poor man's teks for easy ones.

you'll want to get your hands on some perlite and maybe a 2 liter coke bottle or something like that.

once you get growth, you can spore print and then get a syringe and keep the cycle going.

ask your friend and search here.. you'll find more than you ever needed to know.

most likely you want to look up the 'pf tek'
