Hello, I'm looking for a youtube video or step by step instruction on
dunking and rolling my cakes. How much perlite I need to put in my fruiting chamber, etc. etc.
OR
a good casing tek that uses coir.

The search feature at the top is wonderful, like MAGIC .. Search Dunk and Roll and Casings you will find more than you ever wanted to know.

Yes, I used the search feature and did not get what I was looking for.
I want a step by step procedure for dunking/rolling and amount perlite for my incubator.

There are seriously thousands of threads out there. I'm not doing the research for you. Do it yourself. If you want videos, I'm sure RogerRabbit will sell you one.
Anyway, I will tell you that you may want to avoid coir for your casing, but it does make an excellent bulk substrate. However, there is a 60/40 verm/coir casing tek in the MushCult section of the site.

you dont need perlite for incubation.. only humidity in your fruiting chamber.
step one: remove cakes from jars
step two: wash off and put cakes in a large container with something over the cakes to hold them under water.
step three: put the container into your fridge and leave it a good 12 hours or so..
step four: remove the container, set the cakes out and literally roll them in vermiculite. you might want to sterilize it before you do this. that's optional.
step five: wait about 30 mins then mist the vermiculite with a spray bottle to get it wet/moist.
there you go
mini dunk tek.

Well I'll play along
Dunking and rolling - Fill a pot or bowl with cold water, and take your cakes out of their jars.Rinse cakes off with water before placing them in the pot.Place a plate or something on the cakes to keep them from floating around.Leave for 24 hours. (You can dunk for upto 48 hours without ruining them) -When you pull the cakes rinse them off once more under cold water. Fill a pan with some DRY vermiculite and roll the cakes in it. Thats about it.
Perlite
About 2-5 inches is recommended. To be safe you might want to bake your perlite in the oven for a little while (place in a pan and cover with foil)to keep everything sterile.

Look at the time difference between this post and my next one posting at least 3 link explaining each of these.

So, 12 minutes. That is with me messing about reading interesting stuff on the posts and messing with the search engine.
I agree there is a lot of crap to sift through, but it's out there if you use the search engine properly (posts newer than two years, good keywords, etc)

Something that helped me out quite a bit while using search, is to make sure you have the box checked to only show one response per thread.
This way you don't have to sift through 60 results for the same thread post.
As soon as I figured this out, my searching of the archives was so much easier.
