I have about £300 saved up for me to play with.. I'd like to actually do something useful with this money; so I'm thinking of investing it.
I'm not sure what exactly I would like to invest my money in, but whatever I choose to invest in I'd like it to be a fast growing market i.e something you see changes in frequently (not something slow like precious metals ).
I'm not sure where to start with this.. I've never looked into it before... if anyone can point me to some good reads on this topic and any other general advice, I'd appreciate it greatly
Thanks

Technology is always a good one, you really want to invest in a company that's about to make a lot of money very quickly so you can maximize your profits and get out before anything falls

me personally, I wouldn't ask for financial advice on a forum with thread titles reading as: "I got caught stealing Jack From Grocery Store", "Rest In Peace Dobie", "Life No Longer Seems Worth Living", "Pictures of My First Rock, Did I Get Ripped Off?"

I'm not asking for tips of what to invest in.. I want to know what to read and shit.. when it comes to money I am a Jew.. I want to know every little tidbit on the ins and outs of what I'm going to do with my money.
What I'm looking for is books / articles / websites / personal experience and whatever other information on the topic people may have .

My father is one of those workaholic types who do nothing but read the times and talk to investment groups all day and he speaks VERY highly of this man. He's made about 2 or 300,000 because of his advice:
