well i have never seen/done shrooms but my rents just got cows, i live about an hour drive from where they live and my roommate is interested in the possibility of some shrooms probably more so then i am, but either way it has got me interested. they are in north florida and i assume at least that it is still decent weather to find some since i found some kind of mushroom today in area.
the cows well actually bulls have been there about a week now, and i was just wondering if/how long it will take for shrooms to appear.
i found these in more of a wooded area in pine needles around where the bulls where hiding earlier there are a ton of them and they are smaller then the diameter of a dime right now.
edit: there have been goats in the same area for several weeks and it has rained hard recently.

Welcome to the shroomery
Also have cows EVER been on that property before? And how near is it to other cow fields? Because spores need to blow in from other places....

im not sure if cows have ever been there before it wouldn't be unlikely, but to my knowledge no. there are a few cow fields in the area. the closest one being less then a 100 yards away but there is a pretty thick wooded area in between. if shrooms got introduced to the area would they continue to grow?

is it true that shrooms will not grow if the cows eat cow feed?

im kinda thinking about buying spores to introduce to the field, i dont really want to go pick mushrooms for a few reasons but if i buy spores what would be some of my options with what will grow in the climate what is a good shroom and also distinguishable from other mushrooms.
sorry if this question is against the rules or on here somewhere else.

No, the cow feed will not effect the mushrooms.
You've got it wrong though.. What state are you in??
Introducing spores is NO guarantee that you will get mushrooms. Furthermore, you will still have to learn to identify the mushrooms. There is not one species that grows in cow manure and looks more active than others. You'll need to be able to distinguish it from poisonous "look-a-likes" if you are picking outside.

Well then, you are looking for Ps. cubensis and Pan. cyanescens.
