ID Request: LBMs in GGP

I went for a brisk afternoon bike ride today, and took a break poking around the grass. I found these guys. Habitat was medium-tall grass with ample dead wood underneath. These guys are small and young, caps about 3-10mm, stems about 20-25mm. Stems feel sturdy and woody. Noticeable blue bruising on the caps and, to a lesser degree, the stems. Spore print is forthcoming.
And now the pics:

those do look like psilocybe subaeruginascens..It's because of the thicker stem and possibly a very faint veil remnant. Also the stem looks a little more mottled than regular cyans, just like the subaeruginascens I found once
they're good either way, and probably a little stronger than cyans
I'd say go back out there next week and see if there's any more, and hopefully there will be some more mature, because these are a little young
that right there in the photo should be fine for 2 people, and a galaxy quest for one. Otherwise dry them in cold air under a fan

just baby cyans. Not subaeruginascens.
When they are healthy and young the stems look fat compared tot eh caps.

they look like the subaeruginascens I FOUND

I think if claptrap finds more mature ones next week, they'll look more like this.
it looks to me like even these young ones claptrap found are already showing signs of an incurved cap margin and on cyans the cap would be flatter....like this

also, Claptrap mentions the stems feel 'sturdy and woody' which is more in line with subaeruginascens. That's another thing I noticed with this Japanese species is the stems are less pliant than cyans and more fibrous/woody. Cyans are more rubbery
(I still think there's two different types of these Japanese species tho, because of Curecats photos - never seen gills mottled like hers before, and no wavy caps either)

Thanks for the feedback folks. The thought of having found a rare-ish species is exciting; perhaps this week's rains will bring some additional information.

you found active but you did not find anything rare. For christ sake, they are barely bigger than the quarter. They havent even had a chance to get wavy. Pass on those next time and look for their older siblings.
