Neither really. It's the prepared ayahuasca brew itself that makes you throw-up.

wow, this is really fucking awesome.
Ive turned a lot of people on to DMT this year, seems like it really is spreading quickly as of late.
Im really glad, because DMT is a really fucking good drug. Is it even a drug or a key to your mind?

I should get my hands on some DMT.

I'm kind of afraid to smoke my DMT after being blow away by some of my LSD+N20 breakthroughs but hearing all you guys talk about it makes me want to try it.
I've got about 50mg sitting in a capsule here, someone convince me to smoke it.

Just 50mg?
You buy them in caps? How much was that?
Well after recovering today from a decent mushroom trip last night i can assure you DMT is a lot easier on the body. It takes a lot of the good points of every other psychedelic and intensifies them but just as things are getting too crazy it pops the parachute and leaves you safely back on the ground.

I tried Ayahuasca in Peru, def. a life changing experience. That stuff cannot be called a drug. There, its considered a sacred medicine. When you're ready, it will find you. For those of you who have tried Ayahuasca, what were your experiences like? Did you see any animals, or have visions the first time around? I didn't see any animals, but 15 mins after drinking, I began to remotely view places, people.. it was like turning on the television and being right there.. full color...amazing.. then my thoughts began to change.. my mind connected memories of past experiences like a bridge, allowing me to understand myself from a different point of view.. so much energy was flowing through my body.. i began to imagine myself moving up an escalator.. the more i was able to relate those experiences the more i went up on this imaginary escalator.. The shaman would sing his icaros and i would drift off again.. I could hear the sounds of the insects clicking and clacking as those sounds are the "icaros of mother nature"... Then the energy began to climax again.. here we go... i began understanding my relation to the things in my environment... I learned that each and every little thing plays a giant role in life, no matter how big or small that thing appears to be.. I began to relate with nature.. an apple analogy came to mind.. You have the skin of an apple.. you have the fruit under the skin, and you have the seeds.. The apple wouldnt be an apple without the any of those things.. each plays a major role in the creation of the apple.... then you wouldnt exist if you weren't there to experience the apple.
Overall, Ayahuasca is worth exploring even further. Everyone should have an opportunity to enjoy such a blissful, divine, experience. The transition from normality to the ayahuasca world is very smooth.. no anxiety whatsoever... Will I try it again? Of course!

despite being the same chemical... I am assuming that smoking DMT compared to AYA is a completely different experience? When people talk about their aya and spice experiences, there are definitely similarities but overall different. Are both an equal learning tool?

That's like what I was saying immediately after trying it.
It certainly doesn't feel like a drug.
It's more like a "key to human consciousness". But what does that even mean? Try telling that to someone who is unfamiliar with entheogens. They will think you are nuts!

Danlennon3-
I've never tried the "spice", only Aya. I do see some similarities in experiences between the two. From what shamans have told me, is that taking Aya being made my the medicine people themselves, who have generations of experience, it brings the experiences into ceremonial context. Thus, allowing for spiritual growth. Where as here in the west, that part is lost when its taken in the form of "spice".
