? About yellow beads on colonized Rye

I have some 1/2 gallon Rye jars colonizing. They are almost 100% I knocked them up on the 3rd of December.
I just noticed a couple yellow beads coming out of the top. Like beads of water but yellow. There is only 3 or 4 in 1 jar and 2 in the other.
Is this supposed to be piss? I've heard of jars doing this just never seen.
I hope it's not contaminated. There is no yellow or any other color anywhere else in the jar.
Any help is appreciated.

i assume that you have a tyvek/polyfill plug on the lid? Lay the jar sideways. Gravitiy should help.
Grain jars should always be stored on a slant, it helps.
Now that piss is forming you will not want to shake it anymore. The piss will slow colonization of the rest of the grain if it gets mixed.
AS for the piss, you are fine. Rye pisses more then wbs. Piss forms as it completes colonization. You should be completely colonized by now but i assume that you missed a shaking a week or so ago

Thanks again for all the help Tahoe.
I shook it at about 30%. I guess I should of waited a bit longer.
I got the jars from Mycopath so there is tyvek. I will slant them ASAP.
As I will every time I use Rye.
Thanks again Tahoe.

you can shake when you inoculate it, shake again 3 days after you see growth, shake again at 50% and shake again at 80-90%. you really do need that last shake. You want at least 1 colonized kernel per square inch if not more. The closest colonized kernel should be within an inch of the next.

Here is another case of repeating what one hears without looking into it.
Still shaking after two weeks means that it is taking too long.
