So I thought to myself today...gee, it sure would be nice to find some psychotropic fungi for my upcoming roadtrip back to Seattle. What better place to look than Golden Gate Park? Well, this being my first attempt at finding actives in GGP, I didn't expect much.
...Whats up bitches!?!?!? I found myself a patch today! I swear I floated the last dozen feet after I spotted this patch...
Well of course I was too excited to take pics before I poached them...

and plated:

and snowmanned:

On a seperate note...I found this patch right next to the cyans, I believe they are also cyans, but were much more stubborn in their bruising...however blue is clearly visible in on their stems...

Let me know if any of these look suspish...

nicely done!!! I know that there are some people here, well at least used to be here, that believed that all the mushrooms in the bay area were his but I say good for you!! We are supposed to get some good rain this week/weekend so I hope to put in one more good day of hunting this season.
Safe journey home!!

nice find!
you're so lucky you live where you live. Over here I have to wait until spring to get a shot at some blue foots, or large quantaties of subbs.
I really envy the northwest. They've got everything.

Start gathering mushrooms and posting ID requests.
