checking wbs moisture content with gauge

I usually check WBS moisture by seeing how many stick to my hand/spoon/paper towel, but since I have a meter that checks moisture i'd like to make sure it isnt too wet. Does anyone check their grains with a moisture meter before packing them in jars? What percent is considered "dry"? Zero too dry?
OK...I just got a Kelway and i'm looking for an excuse to use it
Would be nice to know if my WBS method is close though. I could of sworn Agar mentioned the optimal percentage in a post but I couldnt find it.

you cant big deal this subject. I am sure that the difference between optimal and what will work is huge.

if you see a puddle of water the thickness of a dime on the bottle you will probably lose it t contamination/bacteria...keep rotating your jars so eventually it gets sucked up

I think im far from optimal. I havent lost any jars due to moisture, but it think it could be better.
After steeping the WBS last night (FooManShroom's WBS tek is great) I dried them a bit more than I usually would with a hair dryer. At the end of the process it was around 5%. So I guess I'll use that as a baseline. Thanks for the pointers guys!
