14 grams is a huge amount of dried mass btw - i for one have never had the time or inclination to eat two full plates of dried cubensis when i could pans or higher psilocybes...

Lipa Yai is a kick arse strain
Effects at .5g and id say 1.2g is the same as 2.5g B+
The most ive had is 6g dried and that was intense
Theres nothing wrong with Lipa Yai its strong and electric
It also has a strong blueing reaction both from te dried product and from overaged spawn jars.
Which reminds me - that oft quoted paper on mycelium only containing actives after the hyphal knot stage is FOS.Ageing colonised substrates like millet will cause the production of actives too.Just like in commercial streptomyces broths.
There is growth and full exhaustion of the nutrient base followed by a period if increased secondary metabolites shortly after.

also
if you are having probs with a strain yake some rue or Capi
then eat 1 to 2 dried grams and see if the problem the shrooms or your inbuilt tolerance due to high MAO levels

Well, I've just grown some Lipa Yai from a print I got from Ralphster, so I'll let you know if they have much effect when I get a chance to try them.


and the verdict is..they're very nice Certainly above average potency. What research did you do to decide you had Lip Yai anyways? You can't really judge just on appearance since there's so much variation.

its the nature of mushroom genetics that the same spore race could produce spore-matches with varing fruiting characteristics, varying colonisation, vary potency etc...Its more pot luck with multispore than spore-race genetics

My $0.02....

Some people must have some natural tolerance to the chemical. I'm 6'2 and 215, and I generally like a dose of 5-7 dried grams for a fun time....but I have to take a LOT more to get up to level 4 or beyond (like double the dose). My size alone can't account for this, as others here who are as big as I or even bigger tell of tripping very hard on 4g or less.

Fresh vs dried doesn't seem to matter, either. A couple of weeks ago about 80g of fresh Tazzies fell out of the sky, and I accidentally ate em ...Lots of fun, but mild visuals and only lasted about 4-5 hours.

My wife (at 5'6 and 130 lbs--hope she doesn't see this thread! ) went all out and had 7g dried of the same mushies, and she was in never-never land for about 2-3 hours. Interestingly, when she started to come down, it was like someone had flipped a switch--boom! One minute nearly incoherent, the next mostly fine. Wierd.

Anyway, these were Tazzies and the potency seems to be fine for everyone--even for me, I just have to eat more. So, someone taking 13g dry and not losing it is not unbelievable at all, at least to me. Some people have to eat more, some people are lucky enough to be able to get the same experience with less. I'd never tell anyone to "just slam down 9 or 10 grams and see what happens", but by the same token, advice to start with "1.5 or 2g" may result in a very minimal experience in some people.

If other people tripped off lesser doses of your mushies, then it's possible that you are somewhat naturally tolerant. Up your dose. If NO one trips on the fruit, then your dehydrator will be the prime suspect. How they're stored after drying will have an effect on their potency as well.

Start another culture with your original spores and one with spores from your harvested fruit and see if the resulting mushies are different in potency. Maybe it was just a poor spore match.

Anyway, like I said, my $0.02--and I hear 9g of Tazzie aborts calling my name......

When did you get these? Where they prints or syringes? My friend got some taz syringes from ralpster with a post mark dated towards the end of june. They are just about fully colonized and was wondering when you got yours? He wants to compair potency reports with you so please either PM me to let me know when you got them or post the date as close as you could remember it. I'll let you know regardless how they turn out when this kid finishes them.

you must have gotten a bad spore match like the last guy said . i got some tassys and i grew those as my second strain i ever grew . i only grew b+ to start but i had to eat so many b+ to trip so i thought it was the same for tassys . HELLL NO !!!

I dosed 11.5 grams between me and my cousin and it COMPLETELY IMMOBILIZED US.  i did not know how to walk ,eat , or anything all i could do was sit for 13 hours and listen and talk like everything was real slooooooooooww, like playing a slowed record or tape. i still have not eaten shrooms since that lol that was  3 months ago.


long story short tassys are freaking potent ill get you a print for somthing if you want some REAL SHIT lol.

pm me as i got a new batch to fruit in a week or two if anyone wants to buy a print or vaccutanier of spores ready for syringes.

ill have this in the marketplace as well lator

and just so no one starts picking this up about dehydrators. That was not the reason for week shrooms. many use dehydrators set to 150F with little to no loss in potency.
