Never said I agreed entirely. I agree with some of the picks, disagree with others. And we are free to change our picks up until Friday. Then you'll be really confused.

Yeah, well I should have quoted the original but Redstorm's was the most recent and had the original embedded in it so I tried to save time and figured people would understand what I meant. Hey, I'm sick- give me a break will ya?? .

What he said, though I have to admit bias on two of the games. I have a long time hatred of the Giants, and I made a drunken 20 dollar bet on Seattle to win the Super Bowl before the season that will pay 1000 if the Seahawks actually manage to pull it off.

I think Pitt has the potential to beat Jags, or atleast keep it close this second time around. All depends if they can turn it around on Run D, but hard to do with Aaron Smith out and Casey Hampton playing like crap.
I pick Redskins over Seattle, i think Skins' D matches up well against them.
Chargers over Titans in a close one,
Giants over Bucs

Im glad that happened. Although, as a Chargers fan I much rather play the Stealers than the Pats or Jags; unfortunately, that was pretty much off the table from the beginning since there are some incredibly good teams in the AFC... Stealers not being one of them due to injuries.

There is a big difference between Indy in Regular-Season Mode and them in Playoff Mode.
That said, I would agree with the picks of my fascist counterpart a few posts above...

If Marvin Harrison is still gimpy from his knee injury then SD has a chance.
Dwight Freeney will be out with a hurt foot for the Colts and SD is healthy all around. IF SD can get in the backfield to pressure Manning regularly then I believe the Charger's secondary can come up with big plays.
Time will tell..

I'd give Jacksonville a better chance than San Diego... I'll be cheering for the jags.

I would agree with that. I have been saying to anyone who will listen that if anyone has a chance of knocking the Pats out it is the Jags. I don't think they will, but if anyone id going to do it it is them.
Hope for snow or freezing rain.

No way. The Patriots are a superior team to the Colts, and the same factors (weather mostly) that could possibly hinder the Patriots, giving Jacksonville a chance, would have more of a negative impact on the Colts.

So you are honestly saying that the Jags have a better shot at beating the Pats than the Colts do?
How does a team that goes 0-2 to the Colts this season have a BETTER shot at beating a team that beat the Colts? I dont see the logic. If A=B and B=C than A=C
Or in football terms.
If the Pats are better than the Colts, and the Colts are better than the Jags then the Pats are better than the Jags.

If the Pats are better than the Colts, and the Colts are better than the Jags then the Pats are better than the Jags.
This sort of logic doesn't really work well for sports. An example from this past college season: Michigan beat Illinois, who beat Ohio State, so Michigan must be better than Ohio State. Right? Wrong. Ohio State kicked the hell out of Michigan.
It's an any given Sunday sort of thing, and I personally believe that certain match-up and environmental factors give the Jaguars a better shot than the Colts. I'm not saying that the Jaguars are better than the Patriots or the Colts (I think that this years Pats are probably the best team ever, and these Colts are right up there.), but I think certain factors may combine to the benefit of the Jaguars.
Remember, before this year there had never been a 16-0 team. So does that mean that the teams that beat the eventual Super Bowl champions during the regular seasons were better than the champs? In most cases, you're not going to find many people claiming that, I don't think.
Hell, how many people are really trying to say that Kentucky was better than LSU this past college season?
Edited to add: You'll note that I picked the Patriots. I just think that IF any team is going to beat them. it will be the Jags.
Also, if the Jags and Colts win, I'll be picking the Colts next weekend.

I get what you are saying but lets just be honest, college and professional are two different things. In college the last ranked team has a better shot of beating the top ranked team than miami had of beating the Pats. NFL is too cut and dry sometimes. You can almost predict every single game. Thats why on Yahoo I was 89% in pickem. I literally got almost every single game right.
I do think the Jags have a better shot of beating the Pats than the Steelers did. But, they will not stop the pass and their only hope is an explosive run game by both Jones Drew and Taylor. Which may or may not happen since they will be playing catch up most of the game (if I am right and the pats take an early lead). It will also force them to go to their passing game which is decent, but not great. Garrard makes their passing game. They have no receivers. Thats why I think the Colts have a better shot, they are a better team overall.
As a Charger fan I would like to say the Chargers have a good shot as well (since Cromartie will be starting against the Pats if we play them again), but its tough for one guy to make that big a difference.
If anyone does it, its the Colts.
Or hopefully Seahawks or Greenbay in the Bowl.

Eh, the only way I really see anyone doing it is if the weather stops the pass for the other team. I don't know what the weather is like in Boston tonight, but for the Jags sake I hope it's snowing or sleeting, or the wind is blowing super hard.
Since the Jag are a fairly solid run team they could beat New England in such a circumstance. Hell the Jets gave NE a scare in the snow. Since Indy is a fairly pass heavy team that is used to playing in a dome, I don't think that weather factors would be enough to get them past the Pats.
If the Pats get past the Jags the NFC is in deep shit, since the Super Bowl is in Arizona this year. I will be pulling for the Seahawks though because of my drunken pre-season bet on them to win it all. Twenty bucks could net me a grand.

Ok, then look at the stats. How do they have a better shot? Give me one reason the Jags have a better shot. A legit reason. Weather only matter IF its there which we dont know at this point in time.

The Jags were the last hope for every team left. They're all fucked now. I'll give my picks for the rest of the playoffs early:
Packers over Dallas (Unless the Giants fuck me again, but GB wins next week anyway.) NE over Indy (Notice I make no provisions for San Diego beating the Colts. No chance.)
Patriots beat GB in the Super Bowl.

I fall to 1-3 in the divisional match-ups, leaving me at 4-4 for the entire playoffs so far.
I stand by my prediction that the Patriots will meet, and defeat, the Packers in the Super Bowl.

Here it is boys and girls. That homo jewunit took over the lead two weeks ago because the idiot kicker hit one from his mother's house in Sydney. Feh. I'm 8-2 he's 9-1. Today's pick will be no surprise since I didn't think the Giants could beat GB, let alone NE, and the last time they played I never thought for one minute that the Patriots were going to lose.
The Pats will forever banish that retard Mercury Morris and his equally retarded teammates and former coach to blessed irrelevance. 38-17.
