hpoo in pint jars

I am going to use some pint jars that are filled with poo, straw, and hpoo/straw mix and do a grain transfer into them. Has anyone colonized poop like this before? I did kind of a test jar of straw but i didn't pack the straw in. There is still a lot of empty space in the jar but I see lots of mycelium forming. Can i add more straw to this jar and just pack it down more?
Also whats the best just putting the colonized grain on the top or in the middle?

*2-3 grows this way*
I would place poo in jars after having been pastuerized and spawned (check spawing methods for grain. fully colonized WBS (in my exp) break up easily into small clusters, which you want to mix evenly and thouroughly)
make jars opaque and check your casing teks. I used verm/pt. moss. leave lids off and treat as you could any regular casing humidity/temp/oxygen etc.
Dunk tek may be required after 2nd or 3rd flush

well i was just going to colonize in the jars and then empty the jars into a monotub, i am thinking now that maybe ziplocks might be the way to go on this one.

ziplocks are a big no no.
if you're thinking that, check out some shroomery sponsors buy some myco bags and pastuerize your hpoo/straw via PC, cool, and inoculate with a thick liquid culture. colonization will be slower (because of mid 70s temp [any higher will ferment]), but your running a greater risk with a g2g transfer using bags.
or spawn your grain to your poostraw mix and let colonize in jar (for shape and sanitation purposes) and fruit as you would a cake
