 Salvia Heart Issues? Possibility?

Does salvia increase heart rate?
For someone with heart disease or any other heart problem at that.... would it be a bad idea to try salvia?

Hard to say. With my personal experiences it does not directly increase heart rate, but having an intense trip may increase your heart rate from excitement or fear.

Salvia increases my heart rate. I only checked my pulse after inhaling a multiple hits from a bowl. It could have been do to the coughing it out though.

for me my heart rate skyrockets
even on really small amounts that dont really make me trip
but salvia and i have a unique bond that most dont
i dont even really hallucinate on it either
id say take a really small amount 2 try out

i'd say it in the salvia fits in with thrill rides in that if you have a heart condition then it's probably not a good idea.

Probably good advice. I wouldn't risk your health for salvia if I were you.
Maybe try a small dose, and see how it goes. I mean small small small.
I find it hard not to pay attention to my heart rate while on salvia though, and I must say, it doesn't go up to much for me. I'd say it increases about 30-40%.
So not as much as if I were jogging, but still pretty noticeable.

As a person who is constantly aware of his heart health, I would like to mention that I have never had any problems whatsoever with Salvia and my heart health. I have over a decade of experience dealing with various atrial tachycardias and fibrillations. I've noticed more heart issues on shrooms and lucy than Salvia. Your experience may be different however.

There are studies that show that shrooms and cacti have a beneficial effect on heart disease,
(amoung other things).... lucy sounds like it might be a bit dangorous to One's heart

I atually had a similar questio on the Edot forums or whatever they're called. Since I am totally new, and I am just starting with salvia, I was doing it around my father and he is very interested in trying it. But he has high blood pressure/cholesterol and had what I think he said was an angina attack..Like two or three in one day.
He is interested but is concerned about his health.
