i use it for FAE. It doesnt do much for humidity but if you are using perlite you shouldnt need it but works great for FAE

I don't know but I've been told. It's hard to run with the weight of gold On the other hand I heard it said. It's just as hard with the weight of lead.

that's weird, i would think it would be the other way around. I mean you put water in so it seems like it's main purpose would be humidity.
If it provides FAE, then wouldnt it remove the current humid air and replace with non-humid air? if that is the case then you would definitely need to mist.

I got mine for like 15 dollars. and once i saw how it was made i duplicated it and made more very inexpensively . i run them 24/7. i guess it prob helps with humidity but not enough on its own
