Just picked up my first san pedro!

but when i got it home, i noticed that it was a bit wrinkly and soft just at the very top. what do you guys think this might be? sorry for the shit macro mode it's a bit blurry.

yeah it feels a bit mushy, just in those discoloured bits at the top.

i just ordered one too... but that just looks like bruising it shouldnt affect the normal mescaline extraction assuming which i am sure you would never think of doing!

huh? why would i never think of doing an extraction? once it grows i will, but not yet. but yeah, i don't know what the bruising would be from, i was thinking maybe sunburn or something?

no cold temps, we are in summer. mishandled? couldn't tell you i just brought it yesterday. and nute burn? is that like too much nutrients? if so i'm not sure, i don't know what the guy has used for fertiliser/soil.
so would you rule out sunburn? i just want to know if i should be putting it in full sun with this damage.

Regardless of if it's sunburn or not you should likely try to put it outside for progressively more time each day until the thing's acclimated just to be safe imo.
