Alright, what are your New Years Resolutions?
    #7812137 - 12/29/07 11:45 PM (16 years, 1 month ago)

Well, I had a list but I deleted it, twice.  I think the only things I'm going to focus on during '08 are LOVE and BEING.  :heartpump:

That and I intend to eat more psychedelics this year.  :mushroom2:

Anyone have a list?  I want to see what other people are going to do.

To make back the friends I have lost, to make more friends/socialize, drop some bad habits, have a more positive outlook on life, finish school, pay back some money, not fail life, and some other stuff too :sun:

I don't really make resolutions. Like most people, I fail to follow through with them.

I would like to continue being a non-smoker.
I would like to go back to school in Sept.

Those are realistic. I'll stick with those.

Oh and start lifting weights/exercise again, and eat healthy (or just eat more in general).

Yeah, that's why I kept mine vague this year, so that I have more changes of succeeding.

i think the love and being are wonderful ideas.

pretty much what i was planning on too.

i'm going at this new year with a different approach.
i'm making a list of resolutions, which are taped up on my wall so that i can actually focus on fullfilling them. i've noticed throughout the last few years i've had some great resolutions which i actually work towards for the first few months but then they kinda fade and i forget.

this new year is gonna be dedicated to myself. i wanna reshape my mind, become a more independent person, be more connected with nature, and try and keep myself from being sucked into society (like watching less tv, eating less processed foods, less time inside the house...)

Get out of debt, learn to speak spanish at least a little bit... let my love blossom and cherish it. None of those are resolutions, don't believe in them, just things I want.

Try taking long breaks from all drugs to see if I can get rid of this horrible fatigue.
Save up to go back to Ventura.
Study hard for my horticultural certificate.

1. Get in better shape / start exercising regularly

2. Start trying to actually pay my bills on time...or at least pay them in general   This is so I can build enough credit so that I can buy a house.

3.  Save money.

Zazen every day

No mindless eating

Giving value rather than seeking it out

Fitter happier

More productive

I'm shooting towards quitting smoking all together, and cutting back to only the occasional night of drinking  :craven:

I guess I'll just continue to try and focus on peace, love and happiness as much as I can. That's not much of a resolution, but anything that I'd like to change about myself is going to take having a good foundation of peace, love and happiness in order to do it.
