So I have 15 jars in a pressure cooker right now and Im not sure if I put too much BRF in them. Is too much bad? Or too little bad? Let me know what I should do. I made sure the verm was covered with the BRF. I did have any means of measuring. I think I fucked up...

Just use one as a tester. I've never had an issue using too much brf, but there's always a possibility of contam. Might be a good idea to invest in some measuring cups for next time . Good luck!

What do you mean you didn't have any means of measuring? Do you mean that you just mixed the stuff randomly? Very bad idea All you need is twice the amount of verm and once the amount of brf and water. You can use anything to measure the stuff, a drinking glass, a bucket, whaterver, just 2x verm 1x BRF 1x Water.

I have said that a few times before, the recipie is givin in a ration form.
2 part verm 1 part brf 1 part water
So get to a good acurate measurement, use a small drinking glass.
For example, 4 cups verm, then 2 cups brf mixed well and ad 2 cups water and mix.
You might end up with a little too much, or not enough but the mixture should be right.
A set of measuring cups and spoons are really cheap and come in handy. I find that i can get a pretty accurate mix by only making up enough to do 4 jars at a time.
And just making more as i need it

Start over. You wanted to cover the brf with the verm. The verm is the filter and must go at the top of the jar. Read the teks, or watch Roadkill and my video on youtube before you make up your new batch of jars. RR

I understood it as that he had covered the pile of verm in his bowl with BRF and then added water.
Which was it, OP?

You don't need a measuring cup. Any cup will do.
2 cups verm 1 cup water 1 cup BRF
Tada!
The way I read it was that when he mixed it all up, the verm was covered with BRF. Anyway, it's too late now. You'll see soon enough. Whip up a new batch while you're waiting.

rofls.. actually i dont want to confuse this, but once you know what you're doing, u don't need to measure anything, it's a "feeling", the way it feels in your hands when you mix it, I soak the verm first, then add brf until it reaches that moist sandy feeling, that reminds me of building sandcastles on the white sands coast of florida, it feels exactly the same, guess u have to be there, and know what the fuck you're doing.
