Hatta can juggle...this morning we were at the grocery store, and he picked up 3 onions and started juggling them. Some little kid saw him do it and was totally amazed. He walked over and mumbled something unintelligible about juggling...it was funny.

I have dreams where flipping comes naturally to me. They're my favorite dreams. I will think 'flip' and without jumping or trying at all I'll just spin backwards, once I realize how to do them I go crazy and flip off buildings and what have you. I love the dream world, I wish I could remember it better though.

Always had the same thought. I know I coulda pulled it off when I was younger when a good friend had a big trampoline, but I couldn't, for the life of me, find the courage to try it.

I used to do front flips all the time on a trampoline and then one time I went for the backflip and kneed myself in the nose. I haven't really had fun on a trampoline since then...

That seems like a tough thing to practice too. Seems risky to try except on a trampoline. Seems like you can either do it or you can't.

I think I was scared off when I saw a dude do one, but he landed on his gut and got flung a good ten feet into the air off of the trampoline and got jacked up pretty bad. I just didn't figure I could land it. Still should tried though.

I can do one just standing on the ground, or running into a round-off and busting one. I can also run up a wall and do a backflip off it. I started doing them on trampolines. Then I started doing them off of different objects such as jungle gym equipment and porch stairs and what not. Then I started doing back hand springs on the ground and it just progressed to being able to do a standing backflip.

Trampolines are easy to pull off. It is the mentality of the situation that kills a lot of peoples will to do it.
I remember pulling off 10 backflips in a row on a trampoline.....I was fucking dizzy!

Anyone can do a 3 ball cascade, should take no longer then 30 minutes even for a complete spaz to master this juggle with zero prior experience. Everyone should give it a go, it's very satisfying.
I love juggling, started with 3 ball about 5 years ago, spent ~2 years mastering 3 ball (around 25 patterns/tricks), then moved onto 4 ball and now I juggle 5 ball which is extremely frustrating at times.
On topic, I can do all kinds of flips, got into parkour/freerunning 3 or 4 years back... it's the shit

Best way to practice is with a trained coach as a "spotter"... next best thing is your random mate as a spotter.
There IS a technique to doing a good backflip that the general public don't understand, so you got to learn that first THEN do it with a spotter. If the spotter does there job, you will NEVER land on your head or something stupid, worse case scenario you land on all fours.
The spotter supports you throughout the flip and when learning will "spin" you, gradually they stop spinning you and just provide support, then tada you're flipping by yourself.

i can do them on trampolines, like other people said, but even then it takes some serious mustering of courage. one of my nephews is like a crazy little ninja. he does backflips like mad, barely even bouncing. he'll definitely be able to do them standing when he gets older.
the only gymnastics i'm capable of is climbing decently and a front handspring.

It's super easy. I learned how to backflip in first year. Watched a tutorial on youtube, it took maybe 3 hours before I could do it

I can do a front flip on a trampoline, but I always land on my neck when I do a backflip. I try not to do backflips.
My friend and I used to put the trampoline right against my house then jump off my roof onto the trampoline. The funny thing is that when we hit our knees would collapse and we'd faceplant into the trampoline the be propelled off the trampoline and flip across the ground a good 20ft.
My neighbor eventually came out and suggested we should stop. A half hour later we got tired and stopped. It was good times, I don't know how we didn't die.

they're no problem on the trampoline. back in highschool my friend and i laid down a bunch of pillows and blankets on the trampoline (like that would help) and did back flips onto them. i would really like to do (they were easy to learn) a back flip on the ground but i don't know how to transition. it's just too scary. i need to do them into a ball pen or something.
