First time growing question
    #780849 - 07/27/02 08:15 PM (16 years, 27 days ago)

I'm currently growing two cakes (treasure coast strain) useing the PFtek for the first time. The pins are coming out with white caps which i have not seen before. Anyone know if this is normal? I have a good idea that the white tops are just mycelium but i am not sure. Thanks for your help.

Neverending...

treasure coast's tend to have a whitish cap, also if you ordered them from hawks eye they might be of an albino variety.

It's normal and will probably grow itself out. If not, you might have albinos, but I have observed this with other strains.
