Gulf Coast shrooms....small?

I know that Cambos fruit alot but have smaller than average fruits.

Do the folks out there who have fruited Gulf Coasts find the same to be true....or am I doing something wrong with my fruiting methods as of late?

Did you get ALOT of aborts with the Cambos....?

If so....good....I thought it was just me...I don't remember reading that as a strain trait.

I gotta get ahold of some bigger fruiting strains....I've been growing cambos and gc for a few months.

Alright im K ed out atm but ya dude I grew Cambo's check out my avatar they produce some huge monsters first flush=) Check the pics

I didnt get ANY aborts with the Cambos! Thats a plus to the strain! I don't get any aborts at all I dunno what it is but I havent gotten a single aborted mushroom.

The biggest my cambos grew was 5-6"

I used straw....50-50 straw/cow pies....pure cow pies....cakes....50/50 casings....pure verm casings....

Always grew alot of aborts as well.
Fast muthas as far as colonizing and fruiting go though....

Didnt get aborts but mine were 9 inches to 1 foot long and thick big caps huge fuckers maybe because I used horse poo I dunno heh

Most reports I've read sound more like mine.
How about with the GCs......I have yet to try them on bulk substrate, IME thats how shrooms were meant to be grown. Much larger and more meaty fruits

I've grown Cambo's on BS and had LOTS of aborts after the first flush which avraged 6"-7" shrooms. ?In fact, NOTHING but aborts after the first flush!!

GCs on compost were not small at all - never tried them on other substrates though... I grew out B+ and TCs on the same compost and these were bigger, so maybe the GCs would not be the biggest on other subs...

Do you find that Gulf Coast's abort less than other's I seem to be getting quite a few aborts with B+

So far they abort only less than cambos.....of the strains I have tried that is.
Of course I haven't tried PRs yet but I have a print on the way:)
