Who's in favor of expanding this forum to all Law -related topics?

The political forum used to cover law as well, now it doesn't.
There is no place on this board to discuss law-related issues that are not security related.
Now in the past people have simply posted everything here, though this isn't within the forum's scope. Who is in favor of changing this forum to Security and Law or Security, Safety and Law?
Topics not directly related to safety could then be discussed, such as renter's rights, consumer contracts and services, and issues regarding probation and parole.
This would mesh nicely w/ the forum's stated purpose and would encompass what is actually spoken about here.
If you're in favor, please post here, and maybe the administrators will change the forum to reflect this.

Sounds good. I was also thinking that this forum could benefit from an "anonymous" option, like they have in the Health forum.

Thanks for your input.
I agree w/ the anonymous option, why not? Could help people who are on probation or otherwise are in an embarrassing situation.
This forum could be much more active if everyone w/ law related posts considered stopping by. Would weed out some of the nonsense replies that are made in other forums w/out much challenge.
There's a bunch of sharp tacks that stop by here (fastfred, seuss, others I'm sure I'm forgetting) who know good deal about the law and I think people would benefit from the scrutiny of any advice thats given.

I think it's a good idea. Most law issues do have some bearing on security and safety, and we've never had any problems with overzealous mods preventing us from discussing parking tickets and the like, but the description might as well fit what actually goes on here.

I think it's already the de facto practice here. Forum descriptions should reflect the discussions that go on there rather than split hairs over what is allowed.
This forum seems like it could probably use another moderator. Not that one is really needed, but the other forums all seem to have multiple mods. Moderators aren't supposed to be nominated, but I think that some of the active and productive members here would make good mods.
Not to name names, but I think it's pretty apparent who I'm thinking of.

yourself?
I think you'd be a good mod, but then noone cares what I think
but yeah, most of the other forums have mods that are actually active and knowledgeable in that forum's topic
We don't have that here, except for Seuss, who stops by quite a bit. Maybe Lana was active at one time, i don't know
But yeah, I'd be all for you being a mod. You help out people and know alot about the subject matter.

No silly, I was talking about you. You're too modest.
I think you have the edge on me in legal knowledge and legal databases, if not in experience or actual trial time. You're more active than me here and seem to get along with people better.
There's a few reasons that I probably wouldn't make the best mod. I don't want to really commit the time required, I'm pretty opinionated, I don't usually spend the time to be tactful with assholes, and I've pissed off quite a few people here over the years, a couple mods included.
Anyways, I think you would make a good mod for this forum. Mods aren't typically nominated, at least not by regular users. But how about it Suess? Anyone else with any objections?
Lana was a good mod and used to be active once in awhile, but I haven't seen here post here for a long time.

Nope, I'm convinced it is the best way.
Did you have any thoughts on the matter?

I think it's a good idea and I am a jerkoff!

However, when you transcend all this pre-conditioning by returning to the original wisdom of the animal body, then you discover this immense dimension of opportunity. For some people, it is a frightening risk. To me, that's the psychedelic experience." Terence McKenna
