LSD + Lithium, second time around

I'm on lithium and wish to do LSD, yet there are reports of this causing seizures. For how many days to I need to be off lithium to be in the clear? Anyone with experience on this?
I asked this a couple of days ago and all I got was "if you need to be in lithium you shouldn't be taking acid," or "don't go off lithium for any amount of time." I have years of experience with doing acid before I was on lithium in the first place. All I'm looking to do is a small amount, one time, to see if I can put a spark back in my soul.
So please reply only if you can tell me specifics on the half-life of lithium, etc., or have anecdotes about lithium and lsd together.

The plasma elimination half-life of a single dose of lithium is from 12-27 hours (varies with age). The half-life increases to approximately 36 hours in elderly persons (secondary to decreased GFR). Additionally, half-life may be considerably longer with chronic lithium use.

From the little I know about lithium I believe it takes a long time to build up to proper levels in the system. When doctors start a patient on it, they have to come in every so often for blood tests to check if their blood levels are correct, and to adjust the dosage accordingly. For this reason, I'd assume that it would take equally as long to remove from the system. So I'm guessing that the amount of time it would take for all traces to leave would not be good for the reason you were prescribed in the first place (bi-polar?). I am in no way an authority of this area, so please don't make any dosage changes based on this post...

let's assume the half-life of lithium is 27 hours. how long would it take to leave my system? (not sure how half-lives work) thanks in advance for your insightful comments. and no, I won't go crazy if I refrain from taking my lithium for a few days, or even a week.

I asked this question to two psychiatrists. One said five days, the other said seven. Really its mostly out of your system within a few days but five to seven is on the safe side.
Do be cautious taking any psychadelic if you are bipolar though, especially if you're on other meds.

Thanks Plok. I'm well aware of the risks involved, and I'm willing to take them. I do want to avoid having a seizure, though.

WHAT!?
Seizures are the best part of a trip.
As far as half lives go, they are just that. The amount of time it takes for half of the substance to leave your system. Your Li levels would decay exponentially, meaning, mathematically, not in a million years would you go back to complete zero.
In practice, I would give it at least a week before they were low enough.
