Hey i don't know whats the problem of these wbs jars inoculated 15 days ago pint jars ,shaked at%10 or so 4 or 5 days ago , anyway they dont seem to contaminate but they dont seem to speed up their colonization also these were cooked accidentally 110 mins at 15 psi i don't know what to relate the problem with really , have got one 3/16" holes each one of them hole is covered with tyvek needle hole covered with porous tape , the thing is they seem to colonize the kernels they are colonizing dense and white but dont seem to like spreading around , So what do you think is there any problem gas exchange , substrate dry or whatever comes to your mind . These are the pics :

thanks for your comments . Peace

Remove the tape from the holes, give it more time.
Is my assumption that you inculated the jars not near the side of the jars correct?

Resolution is bad and I just woke up so I can't see well, but how wet does the grain look? If it looks wet at all it might be a bit too wet and that will slow colonization down.

hey nibin , the grain doesnt look wet on the outside there is absolutely no water on outside of the kernels , in fact as i told i fear there might not be enough water in them after 110 mins of pc ing or sitting for 15 days , but i dont know the answer thats what i assume ,
And another question i ve read in another topic even if the water is less then average the mycelium would colonize but not as thick though , so even if they lack water (just an option) they would still colonize right , well as told before the shaked kernels are colonizing nice and thick but too slow , these pictures are taken today 4 or 5 days after they were shaken , i fear it can be a lack of gas exchange or water but i dont know i need some other opinions , (Should i remove my micropore over tyvek filters and replace them with only tyvek in a gb or so ) i dont know but want to do something since after each day from now on theyll be facing the danger of loosing more water since they ve been sitting around for a long time . Any help is appreciated . Peace

looks dry to me . what is your temp ?is there any condensation on the jar ? look to see if there is any standing water on the bottom of your jar (witch it doesn't look like it) witch would be dead give away of to much water. or shriveled up coronals witch will tell you its to dry. maybe get a marker to see if it is still growing at all (out line the myc). ooo yeah shake shake shake

I say you re-inoculate about .5cc into a couple jars, see if they progress.

DON'T shake them again until you see more(Hopefully thicker mycelium). I doubt it is an issue with them being too wet,as you said they may be a tad on the dry side, feel free to reinoculate with a bit more and this may help the moisture issue a bit than just leave them somewhere for a week and forget about them Bet ya are happy when you go back and look

It is now approx. 6 days later . One of these jars were used in g2g to other 3 jars , 1 days after the first photos at the top of the thread are taken i ve inoculated 20 mls of boiled water to each jar , after inoculating of water waited for 3 days then shook the jars , here is how they are right now : This is the jar i ve used for g2g:
and these are the other two jars inoculated with more water :
and this is a small jar that was done g2g 6 days ago :

I don't know whats the problem o f these jars since it has been like 23 days or so since i inoculated , anyway if they don't get dense again i guess i will add 5 ml of more water into each jar and see what happens , thanks for your comments , peace .
