What to do with a Computer Science degree?

Welp I'm going to graduate soon. Hah I minored in Spanish too, which is a pretty different field than my major..
I'm interning at a software company right now, it's a bunch of developers and engineers and whatnot. For the past half year or so, I've been basically the network administrator (it's a small company)
And I like messing with the server end of things and playing with the hardware and shit (probably) better than coding. I don't mind coding, I just don't know if I could spend my career doing that all day
However, I'll need a job soon, preferably one where I make some nice money.
Monetarily speaking, which end of the field should I be in? Is the money in the software development end or being some sort of IT server type person in a finance company or something?

money is in what you enjoy therefore you'll do a better job and advance further.
apply for both jobs.. you might not get both.. then your choice might be made for you

I passed the AP java A exam in junior year but my senior year i had no drive to take the AB exam. But then again i didnt have much drive senior year at all, good ol' senior slide.

Programming sucks, network/server/desktop administration is where it's at.

Go after something like your CCNA? That's what I've been trying to get, although I haven't been going to the classes afterschool. I can always go back, just need the time.

well, if you have good grades it is easy to find a job. I just graduated with a CS degree with minor in Business Administration. Got to pick out of a handful of companies that contacted me. I will be either in internet securities or network administration, or DB2 (hopefully not, but im good at it)...hope it will be good, I know the pay is.

I'd go for both.
But I guess the potential for HUGE income is in the programming. As you have the possibility to create something novel that could end up as a software patent or a the new YouTube.. Big bucks there.
Programming can be boring when you are still learning it, but when you come up with an idea where you could put your skills into practice and start creating your own software, see it evolve into something unique and useful, you may feel thrilled and addicted to writing more and more code.
Programming doesn't have to be cryptic and difficult syntax: Check Ruby 15min tutorial - on your browser, no installations / downloads, just there ready for your experiment: http://tryruby.hobix.com/

I'm not doing anything to do with my degree - just having a degree is enough to get you in to many generic types of management jobs in a variety of fields. I'm now working in PR. But then that doesn't really make deciding which area to start in any easier for you! I fell in to PR as I started temping while I made my mind up and earned some money to travel, and enjoyed the PR so much I stuck with it. Good luck!
