Habitat: Found in the woods growing out of the ground after a nice rain. really wet ground black dirt with pine needles over it. all grown near each other in a close by range.

Gills: White Gills, Not many Gills really spread apart from each other. No brusing color.

Stem: white, Real sticky when u break it open an feel it. skinny Almost like the bottom of grass were it is white. and round like a mushroom stem.

Cap: Whitish brown. Some all white Some all brown but def same Specie.Really small when they mature. Seem to only grow only 2 and a half inches when fully matured. Real small caps half inch maybe.

Spore print: Csnt get one ive been trying to make one but it aint happening.

Bruising: Seems to be no bruising.

Location: Picked in eastern united states.

Question: How do these come up over night they wernt there the other day after the rin they just popped up why cant cubensis do that.

Every mushroom has a different growth rate. Many of the tiny, delicate, grass mushrooms appear over night, and are wilted by the days end.

You couldn't get a spore print, because you were probably printing them on white paper, and the spores are probably white.

I'm thinking anything along the lines of Entoloma(=Alboleptonia), Collybia, Clitocybe, Clitocybula, or Hygrophorus.

Nice job on the ID request!!

Just so you know, Collybia and Clitocybe are two different genera of mushrooms.

which is why you (not YOU, but... you know what I mean) need to do proper ID requests... too many very different mushroom species look alike and some of those are deadly.

collybia usually are parasitic to other fungus, and genera clitocybe contains poisonous species as well as one of my favorite edibles
