fuckin' A, teddy!
why the hell didn't i see this thread earlier? awesome, awesome idea. i'll see what i can contribute in a bit. i too have to give a thumbs up to MGMT. great stuff. also, i was ABSOLUTELY in love with that "The Do" album for like two weeks after i got it. AND you've got the yeasayers, which i've been trying (unsuccessfully) to find all day because i'm going to a show in about an hour.

Dengue Fever - Venus on Earth
some really cool shit. indie pop/rock with a cambodian lead female vocalist and a hint of world influences.
also, on another note, like i just said in the post above this, i went to the yeasayer concert. and to my ecstatic surprise, i realized that MGMT was playing as well! fucking sick. awesome, awesome show. seriously, really great.
i highly recommend you guys catch them touring together when/if they come near you. not only that but i was dancing with this little indie cutie the whole time. fun stuff.

haha band of horses...
I bought those guys beer and chips when they came to play at the record store i work at. they ate the chips but hardly put a dent in the beer...more for us
they're super cool and friendly guys anyhow though, and a great band to see live.
