/concurs This album's all right, but I definitely prefer Who Will Survive and the old vocals. Whenever I listen to it I feel like I'm watching some old sepia-toned horror movie with the soundtrack coming over a gramophone with leather tube thingy (a technical term).
Does anyone have their first release "Like the Exorcist, but More Breakdancin" that they could upload?

He sounds like he's trying to be Johnny Cash and I don't care for it.

Jim Noir - Jim Noir (2008)
bubbly indie brit-pop with psych rock influences. reminds me very much of the kinks, with an electronica pop overtone. i like it. the last single song i tried to up failed, but i'll give it another shot.
edit: and i've failed again. dunno what's up. i've upped songs before no problem. whatev. get the album. it really shows promise by the 4th track or so.

The Black Keys album is real nice. Several good songs, but my favorites are "Psychotic Woman" and "Strange Times". Check back a page for the album if you didn't grab it already

Definitely different from Who Will Survive but not in a bad way, the pianos are a welcome change.

Andrew Bird's Bowl of Fire- Thrills
This was Andrew Bird's project before starting his solo carreer which got him big. It's a weird jazzy sort of thing, kind of dark at parts, jumpy and happy at others, and just random trippy parts in some songs. I don't really know what genre to put it in but i really enjoy it.
p.s. He plays the meanest violin i've ever heard, its beautiful, enjoy

It really is a difficult listen, I can definitely understand people not diggin' it. I'm not huge fan or anything, but this thread seems to have taken a Lo-Fi twist.
