Who agrees there should be a Role Playing Forum?

I voted yes. I think it could be fun! 
There would obviously be many details to be hashed out, but at first, it could just simply be a role-paying forum, where people craft characters, narratives, and interact with each other on a fantasy level.
Perhaps, it could be run as a separate board, and the characters from there could not be used elsewhere in the shroomery -- to avoid chaos?
The dope wars server also has merits. In general, I'd just like to see a place where we could entertain ourselves and have fun!

roleplaying is for dorks with nothing to do except sit around and play stupid bored games.

it seems that a lot of people have been demanding new forums recently. the culinary arts forum, the role playing forum, the masturbators forum...i think we should make one new forum for all you boring/ed shits called the "I Have Nothing Better To Do Forum." then you can all congregate in the same place and banter away until yr brainstems rot off
Larry: If you get moderator status i don't think i'll be able to visit the forums anymore.
Also, i don't like Coca Cola advertisements in my forums. Advertisements in themselves are bad enough, but why advertise for a company that's been around for 100 years? maybe you should make a little Coca Cola Shrine in yr house and send off for one of those "Start Your Own Religion" info packets.

TheShroomHermit: Perhaps there could be a bar under the persons username... perhaps with the value of 5. When there person gets warned the value decreased and the bar shrinks...
Papaver: We could call this the user's "Life Force," and we could also have "Healers" that could repair a user's life force after a battle, but healing would cost so many gold ducats, which a user could obtain by selling their armor or broadsword...
Papaver: I would also like to see a "Wizard" occupation for some users. A Wizard would have the ability to cast certain types of spells, like the "Cloak of Invisibility" spell, which would make some threads temporarily invisible to Mods and Admins!

Papaver: I think that we should change what we call our Post Count to Gold Ducats. We should then be able to use our Gold Ducats for purchasing goods in town. For instance, Fighters could use them to buy armor and broadswords, Healers could use them to buy medicinal herbs for healing other characters, Wizards could use them for buying spells.
Papaver: We could also have a Food Rating that gradually lowers over time, and needs be replenished by using our Gold Ducats to buy food at inns and pubs. If our food level got too low then it could effect our Life Force rating, and the we would need the services of a Healer.

Someone start a dnd campaign on the irc server. All the character gen tools and dnd rulebooks are on kazaa.
It could be done easily, if someone had the initiative to DM...
I used to have an irc script that would emulate rolling dice with a !roll #d# command... wish i could find it. It wouldnt be hard to script, regardless.

I DM several campaigns with friends. Something this large a scale would prolly need a couple of people at least. I dont know jack about computers, but i have experience and ideas.

Heh...meanwhile papaver reaches into his cloak to pay the barkeep for his too many ale and finds....it is sorely lacking the funds he needs! As he mutters something about another purse in his room, his mind races wondering were his hard earned fortune has gone.
Suddenly he remembers a short black robed halfling who was hovering about him during his last ale. The little fellow had a crooked nose and beady eyes, with the most annoying nasal voice he could remember hearing. He makes to go upstairs, but decides to sneak out the side door and pursue the dishonest fella. Half way out his cloak catches toppling a nearby chair, bring the attention of barkeep to his stealthy, unpaid, exit. "GAURDS" bellows the overwait barkeep and 4 men race from the corners to aprehend you. Without wasting time you sprint out into the night and the city beyond...
