i guees you are right that amanita is good edible is´t i guee is considered even better that amanita caesarea, by the way i have neve seem people hunt this amanita, even is consider so good, and was with the idea that where more common in spring , do you look for the striate margin i will tel you a secret all edible amanita or at leats the one that are not going to kill you have a very good striate margin , even a. muscaria, the volva for the good edible like caesariea and the ones you have are like a cup the volva break in big patches and not in flakes or dot as others , as you have there
and second yeah seem to be a earth start , astraeus, some good , all earth star are alike some diferenciate in color , size, how the like petalstructures open and uplifht , if they have some sort of stem and more feutures, like tree host , etc, i guees you are right about your id.

No No No, It was my choice to eat it, You reassured me that the worst thing that could happen was me getting poisoned, but no boletes are deadly which is all i asked for. I took the chance. Without you and everyone elses help i porbablly would ahve eaten an Amanita phalloides by now
