Here are some pics from a recent forest hunt.
First, a couple of environment pics.

Some more parrots - Hygrocybe psittacina.

Witch's Hat - Hygrocybe conica?

Brown Witch's Butter - Tremella foliacea. An ooze with yellow veins was leaking from the mass.

Nice colors.

Pretty red Hygrocybe - punicea?

Ghosts.

White coral.

A pale Witch's Hat?

Tiny spiny hedgehogs.

Yellow jelly.

Vivid orange.

You can see some spores wafting from these puff balls.

Although there hasn't been much rain, this forest environment stays damp from heavy coastal fogs. There were so many amazing mushrooms!

that white coral maybe is a colocera sp, or a ramariopsis i guess i have never seem some one post that specie .

What up you shrooming fiends!!! those are some excellent pictures Scout. As cactu said, awesome colors!!! Looks like things are still going strong around there. That's very very nice. Could the "Nice colors" be trametes versicolor? Or some other trametes. All nice pics. Looks like you had fun on the hunt. Peace!!!

Here's a few more that I couldn't upload yesterday.
Helvella lacunosa, the Fluted Black Elfin Saddle.

An unusual color for a fungus, I thought.

This mushroom has been taken prisoner.

These were gilled.

Old and young, another Witch's Hat, I believe.

This log had been taken over by these rubbery black invaders.

Enjoying the surroundings.

Aeruginascens is a latin word everyone should know, it means blue-green.

I nominated this pic of a Mycena surrounded by Xylaria hypoxylon for pic of the month.

Fluted Black Elfin Saddle, sounds like something you would find in a sex shop. Great pics as always.

It kind of looks like something you might find there too.
