hello i am haveing a problem with my petri dishes. i made up a liter of MEA (mya) agar and pored 25 dishes in my glove box. i made 5 clones from a large Psilocybe Cubensis (tresure coast) and then did 8 sector transfers each from 2 multi spore petri dishes of same type. the problem is that all the dishes looks very linear to me and it has rings in the grouth like oyster mushroom plates i have seen i am wondering if something in the agar could make it grow this way ? i used a standered formula 1000ml water 20g agar agar 20g DME x-light and 1 tbs of yeast from a steam beer i kegged in november
here are some pics

Temperature fluctuations will cause that. Did you have a bad ass cold front come through a few days ago? RR

Wow yes! i dont have any tubs going right now, i have just been working on isolation, so i have been kinda lacks on keeping my mushroom room warm. We have had a lot of really cold days (low 20s-teens) and in an effort to keep energy bills low the room has been moving between 60s at night and 70 during the day with a few real low night when i left for a few day to get out of an Ice Storm. So low or fluctionations in temp can discurage rhizo growth and promote a more linear growth,or just make the growth rings ? thank you for the help.
BTW your video is great it has been a great refence for me i highly recomend it to anyone who enjoys this hobby and wants to avoid the school of hard knocks and wasted time and materials.

Just rings. Temperature fluctuations will cause those concentric rings. RR
