Help with copying DVDs...
    #7800224 - 12/26/07 07:07 AM (16 years, 1 month ago)

I'm trying to make a copy of "Phish: Live in Brooklyn" (for personal use only), and I was able to successfully rip the entire dvd onto my computer... the only problem is that it's a double layer dvd, and I don't have a double layer burner. The whole movie is about 6GBs, and my dvds can only hold 4. I'm trying to find a (free) program that will compress the movie just enough so that I can fit it on my dvd... and by the way, I'm on a Mac. Anybody have any advise?

I'm in need of a sterile sporeprint, if anyone wants to do a trade for some seeds or something, or maybe just for free if you have a lot of them............. i'd really appreciate it :mushroom2:

1.  Throw the Mac out.

2.  Buy a PC.

  just kidding.  I dunno man...I never had a problem doing that.  I do it so infrequently though I couldn't tell you how to do it.  I have to re-teach myself every time I do it.  The program I sometimes used allowed you to get rid of all the extras and just burn the main feature which saved a ton of room.

Unfortunately, I don't think dvd shrink is available for mac. That's what I'd always use when burning movies on pc that were to big to fit on a normal disc.
