Questions about air and moving it

Hey, I've done a little looking around for info on air exchanging, specifically during fruiting. Stamets says you would ideally have a 4:1 or 5:1 air to media ratio in your fruting chamber. This helps, but what i want to know is:- how much air (volume) would need to be moved through the chamber in a single "aeration"? (would obviously be a ratio like cubic feet of air in chamber: cubic feet needed to be moved).. is it just 100%, get it all out?
- what would an effective exhaust be like? an entire wall of tyvek? seems like it would need to be more porous.. would a hepa filter be good? or could i get away w/ prefilters? i'm open to hepa as i'm trying to use it in my intake/humidifying source. Also, has anyone made a simple damper that worked out well?
- would it be a bad idea to have my humid air intake run through two pre-filters and a hepa filter, because they may collect water and support microbial life? What would be a good deterrent that i could apply to the filters that would be safe enough for the myc. in the chamber to handle?
- should i supplement the air intake with an 02 supply?
thaanks guys!

Are you using cakes?
If so, a shotgun terrarium will do the job just fine.

I don't have a whole lot of answers to your questions, but I'm assuming that with a single air exchange, if your fruiting chamber area has the 4:1 or 5:1 volume, you need to exchange the entire volume of the chamber.
You do need something more porous than just a wall of tyvek. If you are pumping in air through a filter, just having holes where are can escape can be plenty. You do not need a fruiting chamber to be sterile. HEPA filters are generally unnecessary.
Also, you never want to pump saturated air through a filter, foam, paper or otherwise. Condensation WILL form on the filter, which will restrict airflow or block it completely.

thanks so far guys, no nibin, not cakes. i'm thinking WBS to straw/poo for the time being, until i start becoming handy with LC and bags. Silly - thanks much, i was thinking the same thing, but still want to try my best to keep the fruiting chamber sterile as possible.
So the best choice for an exhaust would just be a series of holes in the walls of the chamber, then? I like the monotub idea with polyfill, but I would probably need to punch some grommets in the walls to use polyfilly effectively... W/e
ill let you guys know, thanks a ton
