Mushrooms ready to pin

My mycelium growth is almost complete on the cakes, and I am wondering if after I take them out of the incubator and put them in the fruiting chamber if I will need to put my frruiting chamber in the incubator or is room tempature fine after that point? I can't find the pk-tek I used before and don't want to waste all my hard work and effort.

As far as I now, fruiting temp. for cubensis is around 77F... I just put my fruiting chamber under a dimmable lamp and it was couple degrees above room temp and it did fine. It was F+ strain by the way.

You should be incubating at 82f and fruiting at 75F or as close to as possible with cakes you are going to want to dunk'n'Roll and keep the RH at 100%

No do not incubate cakes after full colonization, after you see 100% white around the outside give it a few more days to a week to establish it's network and then birth at room temperature, usually it ends up being a 10 F temp drop from it's incubation temps.

It isn't necessary, but....
Lighting is one of the triggers that help induce pinning... Lots of folks use a 12 on 12 off cycle. Do a few searches around here, and you will find your answers.

12/12 use a fluorescent tube light on a timer 6500k is the best color temp so try to a T5 or T8 but a twin T12 will work great also. Or just stick it by your window, but don't expect Excellent pining with indirect sun light.

Okay it has been two days I have had them at room temp with a little light to induce the pinning. Today I checked them and they all have very small pins but all 5 of my jars do have at least one. Should I wait a couple more days till the pins get bigger or should I birth these suckers? Thanks for any help guys it sucks being a newb.
