the Caterpillar and the Butterfly
    #7798253 - 12/25/07 01:12 PM (16 years, 1 month ago)

A caterpillar on a leaf looked up and saw a beautiful butterfly passing overhead and wondered: 'is it possible, could this happen to me someday?'

That's all it takes, and the process has already begun.

The game is rigged! No matter how hard you try to run from it, it is the inescapable final destination of every conscious entity in the entire universe - even if it takes another 2 or 3 hundred-thousand life times.

And nobody is expected to arrive before their time.

So: 'do you what you want to do, I've said my piece and now I leave it all up to you.'

That sounds like a lot of nonsense. This is the only lifetime you can say for sure that you have so if you want to be something else get working on it.

A warrior is tuned to survive, and he survives in the best of all possible fashions." ― Carlos Castaneda

Now, now, Hue. Religious fairytales and mythology don't require any basis whatsoever. All they require is a good storyteller and people willing to take fiction as faction.
