Three Dimensions as a Crutch for Personal Perception

I'm not quite sure this fits as philosophy, but it's not quite tangible enough to be called science.
What if 3-dimensional space is simply our minds' interpretation and representation of the numerous influences objects have on one another on the molecular level? It's already been proven that no atom can ever actually touch another atom, they just exert enough force on one another until they reach an equilibrium. Since no atom ever actually touches another atom, that means physical boundaries that define the dimensions of an object don't actually exist since every piece of every single thing is including air itself is made of atoms.
Every object exerts at least a subtle force on anything remotely near (gravity or otherwise; all masses exert gravity), and quantum physics has proven that even the simple act of observation changes the outcome of experiments. Therefore, with objects constantly exerting influence over each other in numerous unseen ways, is it such a far leap to say that physical space is the boiled down version of the sum of these forces? That an objects spatial relation changes as influences are changed? Some masses of atoms and relations such as animals and plants have the ability to change the influences surrounding objects, while other influences change on their own as represented by wind and time itself. However, our very interaction with objects can drastically change everything about how the world works in our minds and in reality. Think back to the butterfly effect.
Think of the universe as a more abstract form. Forget space and physical dimensions, the influences objects have over one another could very well still exist without the confines of space. Being sentient beings within this mess of influences, we would have to boil down and filter out most of the information out there in order to function, and therefore would have to create a reference work of spatial relations in order to organize it all.
Can you imagine all of the implications of this? Simply by convincing ourselves to function outside of these constraints, things such as the placebo effect come into existence. When we as sentient beings believe reality to be one way it alters the universe in such a way it is more likely to become true. Again, look at all of the things quantum science has proven so far that we still barely understand, and just take a second to imagine the number of implications this could have. If perception becomes reality for even just a split second, imagine the things that could be done if you could prevent forces from balancing themselves out to patch the breech of the system we've created within ourselves.

How about the perception of a mass of people? Perhaps it is we who create God by the combined influence of our will. It is obvious by what exists today, what we as a human organism desire manifests into reality.

Well you haven't gotten a whole lot of responses, but since I've seen [most of] What the !&*@ Do We Know I have believed that intent has an effect on our surroundings, and now I have a theory on how it is possible. Thank you for presenting me with this.

on more metaphysical levels you cant actually prove anything (ironically this statement cant be proved either)..ideas are only theorized...the rest relies heavily on what we call faith
therefore while your theory is an interesting one no one is better than the other...some have more "facts" created in order to make their arguments seem most logical...
