about 2 weeks ago i knocked up some WBS using a B+ syringe i got from a sponsor. i have grown using it before, and its always worked fine. my WBS took a lil while to colonize. was in 82 degrees most the time. and, well, it looks like this. it kinda has a grayish tint to it?
doesnt look like fluffy white mycelium to me....when i shake it, it looks almost dusty? atleast on the glass...

here it is next to a normal WBS jar (dont have any colonized, just showin the color difference)

and here it is after a shake, almost green? but its not trich...it woulda bloomed already its been this color for about a week. im scared to use it!

anyone have an idea of what it is?

Could have been any number of things. Improper WBS prep, a contaminated syringe, not being sterile enough with inoculation.
It happens. I usually lose 1-3 per dozen. Gloveboxes really help with this. I can't wait to use one with my next grow!
