Sclerotium /-a (plural) is a little ball of compacted mycelium that forms under the surface of the earth. The reason why they grow under the ground is to reamain protected from unconvenient conditions. They are supposed to survive a year in that state without dying/drying/etc., waiting for the good conditions to fruit. (At least it's that's what I've remember from what I read.)

Those little balls have different names: "camote", "philosopher's stones" and some more. They have approx. the same dose of active compounds than fruits (shrooms) but are 3 times more compact, which means that:

Approx. calculations (counting a dose as 3gr dry):
Shrooms: 100gr wet = 10gr dry. = 3.3 doses.
Camote: 100gr wet = 30gr dry. = 10 doses.

in other words, if you eat them dry, you have to dose the same as for dry shrooms, but if you eat them wet, you have to eat 3 times less, otherwise, you risk to have a surprise.

LilMerlin.
