these are the only ones i can find. I am planning on doing bulk with coir,coffee and oyster shells or gypsum. I can not find gypsum anywhere and these are the only shells i can find. It says (Min) calcium ....35%. So will these work for my substrate?[image] [/image][image] [/image]

If the bits are big it won't buffer pH but will still give good texture to a casing or sub.
Can't you find even drywall?

nothing a hammer can't fix.
yeah dry wall = gypsum after the hammer tek is applied.

do i clean the paper out of it? also should it be as fine as i can get it?

Gypsum and Shell flour I thought was needed one for long term and one for short term buffer.

The 50/50 caseing get oyster shell. The sub get the gypsum. Someone correct me if im wrong.
A coffe grounder will make that into flour in no time tho.
