Do these look right? - Casing fully colonized? (First Grow) - New side pinning pics updated 12/27

(This is my best buddy's girlfriend's dog's first grow, written in the first person for clarity.)
I started growing with some mycobags just under seven weeks ago.
This tray of Cambodian was placed into my fruiting chamber 8 days ago (100% humidity, temp in the low 70s, two full FAEs per hour using an air pump and two bubble wands/stones, with four inches of perlite):
http://img33.picoodle.com/img/img33/5/12/22/f_122207Cam01m_d190d6e.jpg http://img27.picoodle.com/img/img27/5/12/22/f_122207Cam02m_3e29578.jpg
I used hyphae's pinning strategy.
I thought this tray of Cams would be first to begin, but two trays of Ecuadors (which were put into the chamber about two days later) have pinned first.
I have all the patience in the world to let things progress naturally; my question is, Is there something I should/should not be doing to this tray of Cambodians, or is this just "normal" 100% colonization of the casing (RR's peat/verm recipe)? More/less water? More FAE? Don't touch it?
I think this is how it's supposed to look, but...?
I stopped misting it several times a day a couple days ago (as I have been doing since putting in the fruiting chamber) because I thought it was beginning to pin. But I misted it well this afternoon.
I do think I accidentally put too thick a layer of casing on this, however. Maybe this isn't helping things? It was at least an inch casing vs. about two inches of substrate (a grain bag).
The Ecuadors were cased after the first tray and had the correct ratio of casing vs. substrate and I much less myc growth on the casing surface, mostly pins:

These look promising so far!
Thanks.

Patience is a virtue...

PS: Keep an eye on those cambos, they have colonized the casing layer quite a bit, be wary of overlay.

Thanks for the replies. Wanted to be sure things were on the right track, not the wrong one.
I like knowing the science-side of things and like to know what I'm doing in general. I haven't been absolutely clear on this since I've had to resort to pictures only until now: is the slightly colored (yellow, orangey) mycelium in the Cambodian pictures primordia? Or is the majority of the visible white stuff in general on the top considered primordia at this point? Or has it not reached that stage yet at all?
Hyphal knots are not yet primordia, correct?

Here is an update on the Cambodians. Looking just OK, in comparison to the Ecuadorans, here:

OK, I began to wonder last night if these Cambodians might be side pinning. I pulled back the tin foil lining the Tupperware and yes, quite a lot of pinning. Way too thick of a casing layer was part of my problem here, I think.
I'm thinking of taking it out of its Tupperware and setting it in my fruiting chamber. Time to hit the archives to find out what to do about it.
(Apparently I've reached my daily upload limit for the next few hours, so I'll have to link externally to pictures for now:)

Good news is there are a lot more pins than I thought there were; bad news is they're all on the side!

they can usually find their way out but you can take it out of its tray. just make sure you keep that casing layer moist.

Does crumble and casing take longer to fruit?

Yes, a little, but its worth it because of the increased yield.

You will get no increased yield casing cakes on their own, as you are not adding any extra nutes. If you spawn to bulk and case you will get more yield but that is due to the added nutes.
A casings function is to provide ideal hydration and fruiting parameters, which will allow your substrate to achieve it's maximum potential.
With cakes, a dunk and roll will achieve the same effect without the extra damage and risk involved in crumbling your substrate http://www.shroomery.org/9735/Should-I-crumble-and-case-my-cakes
In grains case, for example, as they hold water badly a casing is essential to achieve full potential and with hpoo it helps, but isn't essential as long as you are careful.
