cool, i went and brought some cacti and succulant potting mix, and a pot a fair bit bigger than the one it is in.
most places i have read not to water until a week of re-potting, but on the back of the bag it says to water thoroughly unless it is in the colder months, in which case, water after a week. what do you guys suggest?

i would personally repot in the spring. myrtles are strong so may not matter much...but some cacti when repotted when dormant really grow slow the next year.

i re-potted, but i didn't water because the old soil was pretty wet when i took it out. so i'll let it dry out for a week and then i'll water.

Chip away at those stones and check out the roots. From my experience plants like that from bunnings will have root mealy. Their original supplier is known too be a spreader of mealy.
Other then that, It'd grow quite comfortably in that pot for a season or two.
