Wats up guys, happy holidays to everyone. On thursday I will be voyaging on my second trip(really my 1st real one the last one was weak due to poor planning, inproper amounts, and a weak batch) and as I have stated in past posts my goal is to explore my innermost being my problems internally and externally , my life where it is and where its going and most importantly to get something positive out of this experience. And Ive decided to take trip with a good friend whos experienced with trippin. All these leads me to a question for all of beginners to fully experienced trippers.
How has tripping changed you as a person in terms of -your relationship with self -your relationship with people - your outlook on life ???????????????????????????????????????????

Well for a quick answer, it allowed me to be more receptive of certain rhythmic qualilities found in everyday reality, based both in humour and conversation.

I can let go.
I've become more receptive to the world around us.

-your relationship with self
I don't know what I am anymore, it torments me.
-your relationship with people
Do people even exist? Or are they just a figment of my mind? Are they even there in the first place?
- your outlook on life
Am i living life or is life living me? Do i have free will? Or do i have the allusion i have free will........................
.... I must say, it's fucked me up. In a good way? we'll see i guess in due time.

They allowed me to view alot more aspects of myself and to honor and accept the aspects that feel seperated. They have allowed me to grow.

I feel that mushrooms have made me a much more open minded person. Before I started tripping I believed only in science, I wanted to believe that there was something more but I had no proof. Mushrooms are that proof. The places mushrooms take you are not of this physical world.
It was also during a mushroom trip that I decided to fully devote my life to Mountaineering, so in that sense it has changed me and my life path drastically.

I was never religious or anything, although I must say the thought that there had to be some truth behind it all to generate the world's religions was present...over a course of tripping, ranging from initially recreational use to more therapeautic use and ending in spiritual use, I have found God in everything. We are all one, I see clearly the self and the eternal I which blesses the world and stars and all life with conciousness. Psychedelics open up pathways in our brain, bypass certain filters, rewire our neural network, so do all experiences in life, though. We are constantly changing, not unlike a flowing stream or the river of Tao.
Above all, mushrooms and lsd have shown me reality to be an illusion, both time and space. The only real thing is here and now, the moving experience, conciousness.
There are two dreams it would seem, primary and secondary. Just like life and death as but two sides of the same coin. Everything is one.

they have convinced me that the only real things that matter are yourself, love, and joy. everything is in your imagination/head. nothing is real. so enjoy it all, thats the purpose of my life now. music, art, sports, and anything i can trip out/into is priceless.
oh and, i am a god. literally.

shrooms brought love into my life.
i was a very heartless bastard towards the end of High school.
i dont know if it was just growing up that did it or i was being influenced by the shrooms, but now i have a much better feel for the world and the capacity to love. its great.
i know this thread sounds completely gay/ratarded but hey thats how it is.
shrooms allowed me to forgive myself for my crimes.
i love shrooms because they help you think.

- they have helped me recognize and focus my attention on the most important things to me: my relationships with my spouse and child and dearest friends. good trips are like near-death experiences without the near-death part. they leave me more glad to be alive than before. - they have helped me become more emotionally transparent, expressive and accessible - they have greatly sharpened my appreciation of the beauty of the natural world - they have restored my dream life after decades of seldom remembering any dreams - they comfort me that death is not to be feared
