Need to get in really really good shape

Hi, so basically I am an online poker player and I've been lifting home weight for about 2 years. I take a walk about three time a week and that about it. I have some big problem with energy which is constantly drained by weed usage, I barely consume any alcohol (something like once a week max and 3-4 beers). I drink a lot of coffee but I don't do any amphetamine of any sort, it is notable that stimulant(if safe long term) might be of great help in this sort of situation. Also, I know I specified that it is weed but it is quite unlikely that I will stop smoking (I could for sure try to smoke only at occasion, but whenever I smoke, I want to smoke more!) mostly because it is all around me. Oh and I am 21 yrs old male, I am almost done with school (computer science) and I have been playing video game competitively for quite some times (real time strategy).

It is very important for me to achieve mental clarity to be able to perform well in poker and so for long hours, even if I am a cash game player I really want to get in tournament. I am currently playing NL400 on around 6 to 8 tables which mean I have quite a lot of money on the tables. That being said, I know that it is a big trend to train very hard for poker players and many of the higher stakes player I know do train hardcore.

As you can see I want to put a lot of effort, but I do have other problems, such as being unable to get enough protein (first because my mother is a psycho and threw away all the whey I had! Sometimes making me think I wasted a lot of weight lifting session). But getting big arms or legs isn't my main concern, I really need to focus on mental clarity and energy, which I find is pretty low but has been going up ever since I started training. I guess cardio would be very good to work on, I however find it the hardest to train - I'm also curious if you have to eat a lot of protein after training your cardio (since hearth is a muscle). There is also a need to train my brain, probably finding some "brain trainer" thing online. If you can provide with link, information or anything I am very curious! Thanks all, if I have more questions I will post in this thread.

Edit1: Also I can't cook so I basically have to eat bad food unless my mother made something (thanks god it's the case 90% of the time)

Learn how to cook. If you have problems with mental clarity, try to cut out refined sugars and carbohydrates from your diet and stick to whole grain types of things.

Simple carbohydrates are bad for focus and can give a big lack of energy. I noticed that ever since I cut them (along with most all carbohydrates, but you probably don't have to worry about that) out of my diet my focus AND energy is top notch.

As for protein, eat meat!
