Broke a tray
    #7789438 - 12/22/07 03:23 PM (16 years, 1 month ago)

Hi. I have a Tupperware container of Golden Teachers uncased with coir/coffee/gypsum. Everything was going fine, and after a first flush, I decided to dunk it and get rid of some shrooms growing on the side which I couldn't reach before they began rotting and causing problems. I put down a layer of tin foil then flipped the contents of the tray onto it. Only, instead of falling down as one clump, part of the coir stayed onto the container and the remaining part broke in half. I put it all together, filled the container up with water, then put the top on. It's sitting in my fridge as we speak.

Should this cause any problems? Does this pose a large contamination risk? If so, would it be wise to case it(keep in mind it's already fruited) or separate it from my other two trays? Or should I just toss it?

It won't knit back together, but should still fruit as two separate blocks.
