headaches
    #7789206 - 12/22/07 02:14 PM (16 years, 1 month ago)

without pain. -sort of- anyone have these. the docs call it a migrane variant. for the past 6 years every so often it happens to me. i feel a sensation i think that comes from the right side of my neck in the back where my head hooks on, but about 1-2 inches down. and it radiates all down my right side paralyzing me. it also effects my lungs as i can only do shallow breaths. i just lay on the ground until it passes. i get the sweats and get pale. last time it felt like i was gonna piss myself, like i didnt have control. but i didnt. it was just really weird to experience not having control. what would i do if this happened to me at work? Is it bad? It hurts in a numb kinda way. sometimes intensely. is my brain shorting out? could some type of trauma have started it? something really bad happened in my life around the first time it happened. i was at an autoparts store and i thought i walked through an aerosol chemical as my nose and face, head area became numb. it was the weirdest thing. my lip and eye dripped and everything, only on the right side. went to the hospital and they said it was a migrane variant and sent me home. a headachetype without the direct brainache. has anyone ever hear of anything like this? any info would be cool.

I have never heard of this. And i do not have any info.

You may want to change your diet.

Illness usually comes from diet.

The mind is a creative tool. It searches to protect you, through message sensations(feelings). It is no different than a computer, you need to make sure its anti-virus program is in check and that it doesnt have a script that limits your experience, because of to much precaution.

And remember the computer does not appear to respond to words of anger and frustration - just give it input, in the form of new meanings that you know to be true and its messages to you and the limits it lays out for you, will change.

Guilt is an outcome of believing you are the cause of the problems.

Yet, we are not a cause to something, we see is negative or bad - Unless you believe your intentions are directed towards a bad outcome....

I suggest that you take a tomography just to be sure.

I agree with MT.
I would not take the migraine variant diagnosis as complete without a lot of testing.
I know this from experience over a period of 3 years, which culminated in a diagnosis from a university hospital neurology program of pseudo migraine.
Essentially what happens is that it feels like I have a pinched nerve in my neck and all the nerve conduits and endings throughout my body twitch with every movement. This causes all my movements to be rapid and jerky. The real kicker is - no pain; and after 4-6 hours of this I am totally exhausted and drained, and sleep for many, many hours. As I said though, this was not a diagnosis arrived at lightly. I had MRI's and MRT's with highly specialized interpreters looking at the data.

I would encourage you to seek the best medical opinions you can, for what you have described could be quite serious.:sunny:

I did the test with all the cords on my head. they said they saw 'something' on that one. but then i did a mri and mra and they never called me back to tell me anything bad. are those the right tests?

Yes they are the right tests but you need the results.
You need to know what was that they saw in there.
It might as well be nothing that threatens your health.
For example, when I took a mri they saw a 2 mm cyst but they said that these thing exist and there's nothing I should worry about.
Anyways, this could be your situation too or not.
Where are the test results? Do you have them? Maybe you should take them and show them to a doc.

i have the all the photos but they said they would read them and tell the dr for me. since the tests about 2 months ago i havnt heard anything. it just happened to me again on the 22nd when i posted originally. it was mild this time but it still laid me up for most of the day. insted of trying to do anything i just layed in bed and let it happen. that way i wasnt falling down or driving or something. i know the pain comes from the right side of my neck in the back where my head hooks on... but the doc says has nothing to do with it.

Ok, first of all, go see a doctor and take the pictures with you.
From what you describe it really shouldn't be any danger but it's better to be sure.
Also make sure and take some therapy massages, that area of the neck gets tensed pretty easy and it can give some really weird and unpleasant symptoms.
Your posture might be incorrect and maybe your spine is curved because of that.
